Great lodge surrounded by trees and friendly owners! Loads of hammocks and nice bathrooms/showers. The owners are nice and helpful in every way, and are awlays nearby if you need them.

No WIFI, terrible network. No electrical outlet in the room.

The location was perfect, peaceful, and close to town. The rooms were beautiful and well-lit. The staff was attentive, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast by the river was amazing.

I recently stayed at La Casa de Cecilia in Mindo for 10 days and had an amazing experience. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect, situated right next to the river and close to the center of town, yet still peaceful and tranquil. I loved watching the kolibris fly around in the beautiful garden and relaxing in the open kitchen or in the hammocks. My 5-year-old had a blast playing with the other kids and the adorable puppies on the property. The owners even went above and beyond by giving us a lift to Santo Domingo, sharing the gas expense. Highly recommend!

Great value for money, cozy and clean cabins, and convenient location near restaurants and the town center. the staff was helpful and accommodating, assisting with tours and transportation arrangements. the sound of the rushing river next to the cabins provided a peaceful ambiance.

During our stay, the staff seemed preoccupied with a birthday party, resulting in less attention to guests. the party noise continued later than promised.

The activities organized by Cecilia were easy to book and affordable. The terras with a river view was a nice spot to relax and observe birds and colibris. The family running the place were helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. The location next to the river and close to the center was calm and beautiful. Our 5-year-old loved interacting with the other kids and puppies.

I recently stayed at La Casa De Cecilia for three nights in Mindo. The location was perfect - close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The wooden cabins were beautiful and the view from my room was amazing. I loved relaxing in the hammock area next to the river. The breakfast was delicious, with scrambled eggs, good bread, and coffee/tea. The owner even offered a taxi service to and from the airport, making me feel safe and well taken care of. it was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location close to the main square, surrounded by nature. Well-kept garden with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the river and watch birds. - Fast and pleasant service, with breakfast provided.

Room not ready upon arrival and bathroom not cleaned until later. No lock and key for the room, requiring valuables to be taken with us.

The breakfast area overlooks a serene river, providing a calming atmosphere. The owner's safe and reliable taxi service made us feel secure despite the nearby demonstrations. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the beds were comfortable. The hot showers were a welcome treat. The staff provided excellent recommendations and assistance with activities. Mosquito netting in the room was a thoughtful touch. a wonderful experience at Casa de Cecilia.
